Disinfection Service

Disinfection: It refers to any process that eliminates (removes) or kills (deactivates) all forms of life and other biological agents (as well as viruses ) which some do not consider to be alive but are biological pathogens nonetheless), including transmissible agents (such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, spore forms, unicellular eukaryotic organisms such as Plasmodium, etc.) present in a specified region, such as a surface, a volume of fluid, medication, or in a compound such as biological culture media. We use EPA AND FDA Approved chemicals like ammonium chloride and sodium hypochlorite.

Importance of disinfection service

After the covid outbreak, now it is vitally important that commercial buildings, schools, residential societies, or any industrial are kept clean and hygienic. While daily cleaning should be a given for every business/sector, thorough disinfection is needed to kill harmful bacterias that live on surfaces and equipment. Infectious diseases such as covid-19, delta variant, omicron can survive on stainless steel surfaces for about 72 hrs, and therefore if preventive measures are not taken properly, it could be a massive risk to everyone in the surrounding.

ULV Fogging Treatment

Therefore, Cleaning surfaces and disinfecting them is the best practice for preventing the spread of COVID-19. A disinfection service involves a survey of the site first, which provides a site-specific risk assessment, method statement, and safe operating procedures. The site is then manually disinfected by specialists – wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and using specialist equipment and an approved, high-level surface disinfectant – going through the contaminated rooms and areas and cleaning all the key touchpoints.

ULV (ultra low volume) fogger is a cold fogger that operates using cold fogging techniques.

It emits water droplets as small droplets size anywhere between 5 to 30 microns, foggers equipped with motors that produce high power, low-pressure air stream, Solution then gets pumped into a special nozzle that is construed in such a way to give the airflow a swirling motion. A high air pressure produced by the motor helps to spray the fogging liquid through the nozzle separating it into tiny particles.

The liquid solution gets sprayed out of the nozzle in form of a fog or a fine mist. ULV foggers mostly work on electricity, which is needed to power an electric motor. The particles size ULV fogger produce can be adjusted to output a precisely sized particle, which allows using the fogger in different applications. Also, because ULV foggers use cold fogging techniques and do not get heated to high temperatures, they can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Anti-Viral Disinfection treatment Service Details

The Disinfection treatment done will remove the Bacteria, Germs and is termed as Anti-Viral treatment for any commercial or residential spaces. The chemical used to execute this treatment using Diversey Virex 256 (Ammonium Chloride-5 to 10%) or equivalent disinfectant (Sodium Hypochlorite) approved by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) which helps to sanitize and disinfect the treated areas.

Following areas of the building will be covered in the disinfection treatment

  1. Drive Ways
  2. Parking Areas
  3. Lobby Area
  4. Lifts

  4. All Common Areas Doors & Windows should be open after 2 hours of the treatment and to be properly ventilated.
  5. Do not mop the treated areas.

Disinfection treatment of vehicles carried out using high-pressure pumps for even application of Disinfectant over the Vehicle surfaces. Spraying treatment is done over and inside vehicle areas to Disinfect the same and to avoid contamination.  Vehicle disinfection process in necessary to avoid entry of Viruses or Bacterial from one place to another. This treatment is carried out taking all safety measures as per the Government norms.

Precautions to be taken before and after the treatment are as follows:

  1. It is suggested that all Vehicles entering the premises should be thoroughly washed at their starting point of Departure to avoid contamination.
  2. Park the vehicle at least 100 meters away from the entry gate or outside the entrance of the premises while entering.
  3. Keep vehicle windows closed at the time of treatment to prevent bacteria or Viruses from entering also to avoid chemical exposure to personnel sitting inside the vehicle.
  4. Disinfectant approved by FDA to be thoroughly sprayed all over the vehicles as well as on wheels.
  5. Once the Vehicle enters in Parking zone it has to be made available to treat internally too.
  6. Vehicle treated from inside areas needs to be allowed to keep open so that chemicals will be properly dry and microbes get killed.
  7. Thorough spraying treatment has to be done on Packaged material if any Vehicle is carrying Goods apart from Food Materials, Food Packages are to be sprayed only if proper sealed packaging is there to avoid chemical exposure.
