    Causes of spider Infestation

Spiders are one of the most feared insect-types pests. Although most types of spiders are harmless, they still cause alarm for those who encounter them. There are various reasons why a home or business may end up with a spider infestation. Understanding why spiders become pests is a good way to know how to get rid of them and keep them away.

Food Sources : Like all animals, spiders need to eat to survive. They primarily feed on insects and other bugs, so they seek out places with a ready supply of them. Although spiders are great to have around because they help get rid of more harmful pests (e.g., roaches, fleas, mosquitoes, etc.), in large numbers spiders can be an unwelcome annoyance.

Seeking Shelter Indoors and Outdoors : Spiders are feared by many, but they need protection from predators and the elements just as well. In extreme temperatures, spiders can often be found indoors trying to escape extreme temperatures. They also seek out hiding places where they can build webs and lay eggs. Once inside, they can lay eggs and start a whole new generation of spiders making even more difficult to get rid of them

Seal The Cracks In Walls : The easiest way to get rid of spiders is to prevent them from getting into the house. To do this, you need to know how these creepy-crawlies get into the house

Regular Dusting : When you think of how to remove spider webs, the classic way works the best. Dust and clean your home regularly. This doesn’t allow a spider to build a web. This cuts their hunting techniques down and in turn, it stops them from staying in your house.

Keep lights off : Do not attract a spider’s next meal. Spiders are not attracted to the light, but many of the insects they feast on are.

If you have a large number of spiders in your home or are experiencing a spider infestation at home, you may want to contact a professional pest control service.

    • Spiders can be one of 38,000 species and are found on every continent except Antarctica
    • All types of spiders have 8 legs and spin silk.
    • A cobweb is an abandoned spider web.
    • Spider “silk” comes out as a liquid but hardens when it comes into contact with the air.
    • Some spiders can make up to seven types of silk; such as smooth, sticky, stretchy, etc.
    • The largest species of tarantulas – a type of spider – can kill mice, birds, and some lizards.
    • Tarantulas have a dangerous reputation due to their venom but in comparison to spiders like the Brazilian Wandering Spider or banana, spiders are less deadly.
    • The biggest species of spider is the Goliath Birdeater which can be up to 11 inches wide.

    Causes of mosquito

Poor plant management and habits : Those potted plants and pretty vases of flowers could be an activity we care guilty of in promoting mosquito attraction. For instance, watering the plants and leaving puddles on the balcony flooring, not clearing collected water along the flower trays and drains or not changing water regularly in the vase.

Poor housekeeping and home maintenance : For most homeowners, the importance of home maintenance is regarded as low priority. Housekeeping and home maintenance is necessary not just for mozzies, but pest control in general. However, the benefits of home maintenance is beyond just removing pests, but provides opportunities for proactive inspection and detection for pest risks.

Not taking care of gully traps and drains : Gully traps and drains are the most forsaken part of the premise or home in terms of mosquito elimination. However, they are also one of the highest key area because of the weather or environmental conditions.

Even though mosquitoes drive us all crazy, we can’t help but be interested in some unique facts about these buzzing, blood-sucking insects

Mosquitoes Are Attracted to Our Breath : Mosquitoes seek out carbon dioxide which we release every time we exhale. That’s why we often see mosquitoes buzzing around our heads. Mosquitoes can actually sense carbon dioxide from 50 yards away, so it’s pretty hard to hide from them when we’re outdoors.

Females Mosquitoes Are Aggressive : The biters are all female mosquitoes. Because females need protein for their eggs, it’s the females who feed on blood. Male mosquitoes don’t worry about such things, so they actually feed on nectar from flowers.

Wing Beats are the Language of Love : When a male and female mosquito meet and decide to mate, their wing beats actually synchronize to the same speed. How romantic.

    Problems of Lizard infestation

Infections, diseases and nuisance are the impediments of a healthy and radiant life of an individual. Many chores are responsible for them, but many indirect ways are also found through which a passive attack is made. One such passive cause is lizard infestation. Lizards are said to be the storehouse of bacterial and parasitic infections. There are many reasons as to why lizards love to wander over our walls, like:

Bowel infection, liver infection, lungs infection and heart infections are some other infections caused by lizard infestation. Many of them can be cured, but many are fatal and may result in death of an individual.

    • Lizards that sneak their way into your home can be practically anywhere. They move quickly and like to be hidden. Common areas where you would find them are in the garage, cluttered storage areas, the kitchen, and near entrances into your home since they may quickly scurry in from an open door. Look on interior walls and ceilings as well since they also like to move over walls and even stay still for a period of time on a wall.
    • For lizards in your yard, Lizards are usually found around warm, humid areas where they can crawl around on rotting wood in search of bugs to eat. You can also find them in garden areas or along exterior walls of a home. Below are the few suggestions.
    • Seal entry points around the home with caulk or Stuf-fit Copper Mesh.
    • Don’t allow food to be left out in the open. Lizards mainly eat bugs, but will eat fruit and foods when available. Food will also attract insects, which in turn attracts Lizards.
    • Monitor insects and Lizards by using sticky cardboard traps like the Catchmaster 72 MB glueboard. Place in strategic areas to capture lingering Lizards and insects.
    • Conduct follow up Lizard treatments.
    1. Are lizards poisonous? : While most lizards are harmless to humans and do not cause a threat, there are a few that are poisonous or are extremely dangerous and should be avoided.
    2. Where do lizards live? : Lizards live in different places all over the world. They are cold-blooded and this means that their body temperature is the same as the environment around them. As they can’t control their body temperature, they usually live in warm places, such as the tropics or the deserts.
    3. How long do Lizards live?

Lizards usually live for about 15 to 20 years, but some can live up to 50 years.
